Globecomm Systems Signs One Year Contract Extension with the Iraqi Telecom and Post Company to Deliver International Voice Services.

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. -- Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM), a global provider of end-to-end value-added satellite-based communications solutions, today announced that it has a one-year contract extension with the Iraqi Telecom & Post Company (ITPC).

Globecomm will provide International Voice Services to the ITPC for phone calls originated in Iraq to other parts of the world and for calls originated outside of Iraq through Globecomm's partners into the ITPC network. Globecomm Network Services Corporation (GNSC) is the primary service provider for the ITPC, has been carrying their international voice traffic for the past eighteen months and the two companies are working closely to expand the ITPC network.
