Globecomm Systems Receives Award under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract from a U.S. Government Customer Valued at $9.7 Million.

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. -- Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:GCOM), a global provider of end-to-end value-added satellite-based communications solutions, announced today that the Company has received an award under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle from a U.S. Government customer valued at $9.7 million.

This contract is for multiple units of the Company's Explorer line of portable satellite terminals. The U.S. Government has utilized this IDIQ contract vehicle to purchase $15.2 million of similar products over the past six-months, excluding this award.

The Company currently anticipates executing this entire contract by its fiscal first quarter ending September 30, 2007.
