 Dryden as a Flight Controls engineer for the last two years, involved with the X-37 aerospace plane, and most recently, developing an ultra-high precision autopilot for a JPL (language) JPL - JAM Programming Language.  project on a Gulfstream G3 jet. E[acute accent]Dr. Lee is an instrument rated commercial pilot with licenses in airplanes, helicopters, and gliders. He has piloted over thirty aircraft types. One of the first aircraft he built was a Rutan designed Long-Eze in the early 1980's. Since that time, he has designed, built, modified, flight tested or flown a Corbin Ace, Aviat Husky, Pitts Special aerobatic plane, a World War One Travelaire and Tiger Moth, a Robinson R22 Helicopter, Bell Jetranger Helicopter, Schwietzer 300 Helicopter, Grob 103 Glider, Nimbus 2 glider, Duchess Twin airplane, North American T6, Extra 300 aerobatic plane, and numerous Piper and Cessna aircraft, as well as a hot air balloon This article is about hot air balloons themselves. In his role as a Controls engineer at NASA Dryden, Dr. Lee has the honor of the most time manually piloting NASA's X-37 aerospace plane high fidelity simulator.
