Global ePoint's Aviation Division AirWorks Receives Additional Orders for Cockpit Door Surveillance System from Lufthansa Group.

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. -- AirWorks to obtain FAA certification for CDSS on latest Bombardier CRJ model type release

Global ePoint, Inc. (NASDAQ: GEPT), a leading manufacturer of security technologies for the aviation, law enforcement, commercial and industrial markets, announced today that its AirWorks Aviation Division Global AirWorks, has received additional orders for thirteen of its Cockpit Door Surveillance System (CDSS) kits from Lufthansa Cityline, part of the Lufthansa Group and Europe's most widely-traveled regional airline. Beginning in June, 2006, Cityline will receive deliveries of an additional 12 new CRJ 900's, which will be outfitted with the CDSS kit. As part of the Lufthansa Regional concept, the airline flies more than 6.8 million people annually on its current fleet of 81 short and medium-range jets. All are equipped with the CDSS. The CDSS is already installed on over 800 aircraft flying worldwide on major international airlines and domestic carriers

AirWorks holds FAA supplemental type certificates for CDSS on all current Bombardier CRJ family of Regional Jets with the CRJ 900 being the latest model type release. In the Federal Aviation Administration's recent release for 2006 of industry calculations and projections, the regional jet family of aircraft is stated to be growing in vast numbers and anticipated to be the fastest selling passenger jet model. Regional jet operators continue to augment the spoke and hub concept of the major U.S. airports and sales of this family of aircraft or growing in large numbers across Europe and Asia.

"The orders reflect the growing trend from airline operators of all types that are increasingly seeking to integrate our CDSS in their operations," continued Mr. Frick. "This has resulted in increasing orders from aircraft leasing companies and larger modification centers as aircraft transition between airlines with recent orders from GECAS, ILFC, and AMS. These orders were for 3 A320's and 1 A330 CDSS kits. In addition to our CDSS orders, we are seeing more requests for interior modifications, such as for interior cable harnesses and wire assemblies for delivery this month by a leading U.S. carrier."

The CDSS provides up to 16 cameras within the cabin and cargo area of the aircraft. One camera is mounted just outside of the cockpit door, with two cameras in the forward galley and passenger loading area directly outside of the cockpit. Cockpit components are 2 LCD screens one located on each pilots position within the cockpit.
