Revenues for the first six months of fiscal 1997 were $60.7 million, compared with $58.2 million for the same period a year ago. Net loss, including the one-time charges, was $4.7 million, or 28 cents per share, compared with net income of $3.9 million, or 22 cents per share, for the same period last year.

"During the second quarter, we took aggressive steps to improve the performance and profitability of the company," said Neil Selvin, president and chief executive officer.
