"Being publicly traded in the U.S. is a very important step for Global," said Global's President Bob Urosevich. "Now Americans can invest in Global, a company that is leading the industry in helping U.S. voting jurisdictions replace old lever and punch card systems with high-tech voting machines. Since the 2000 Presidential election, voting jurisdictions have expressed interest in phasing out their aging inventory of punch card machines. Global is meeting U.S. voting jurisdictions' demands for new voting technologies."

Recently DuPage County in Illinois and St. Croix County in Wisconsin announced they have chosen to begin replacing their aging inventory of punch card voting machines with Global's AccuVote (TM) (optical scan) voting system and Global's unique election management programming. These are the first two U.S. voting jurisdictions to begin phasing out their punch card systems since the 2000 Presidential election.

"Through our proven proprietary G.E.M.S. technology, Global has solutions available today to immediately solve America's voting system issues," commented Urosevich. "The 2000 Presidential election demonstrated that a large number of U.S. voting jurisdictions are employing voting equipment that is almost 90 years old. Global's voting systems are available for use right here and right now. Our products and services are scalable and adaptable to meet the demands of future voting system requirements.
