Global Telephone Communication Inc. Announces That Vice-Chairman Charles M.H. Shiu Will Evaluate GPS System.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 6, 1999--Global Telephone Communication Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GTCI) today announced that Charles M.H. Shiu, the Vice-Chairman of Power Pacific Corporation Limited, a subsidiary of Power Corporation of Canada, has been retained as a special advisor by GTCI, and will be evaluating GTCI's proposed GPS system before its implementation in China. Mr. Shiu, with his capable credentials in the field of research, and informed understanding of technology in the Chinese market, will act as the Chief System Analyst for the forthcoming GPS system. This will ensure that the performance of GTCI's GPS technology in China will be of the highest caliber.
