New software from Global Software Inc. provides controllers and CFOs with an instant, accurate picture of a company's financial anatomy at any time, using nothing more complicated than a Microsoft Excel (tool) Microsoft Excel - A spreadsheet program from Microsoft, part of their Microsoft Office suite of productivity tools for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh. Excel is probably the most widely used spreadsheet in the world.

The application also helps CFOs spot and track anything unusual or suspicious in the books from day to day.

Called Spreadsheet Server, the software is part of a suite of analytical tools from Global Software that "reveals a company's general ledger General Ledger
