The Tetra Laval Group consists of the three independent industry groups: Tetra Pak, DeLaval & Sidel. Altogether, the Group employs close to 30,200 people. SA, a giant Swiss-based packaging company, will own 91% of the shares of Sidel, the French maker of stretch-blow molding machines (Woodworking) A planing machine for making moldings (Founding) A machine to assist in making molds for castings. Tetra Laval says Sidel will be a separate standalone division of Tetra Laval, which also owns Tetra Pak Tetra Pak is a multinational food processing and packaging company of Swedish origin. It was founded in 1951 in Lund, Sweden by Ruben Rausing and Erik Wallenberg. The company is part of the Tetra Laval group which also includes Sidel- who specialise in PET bottles- and DeLaval, a , a global packaging company that makes PET preforms and bottles. Tetra Pak also makes stretch-blow machines. |
