Global Leader LG Electronics Launches Web-based Service Supply Chain from ServiceBench.

With the new system, LG Electronics can rapidly dispatch technicians via the Internet from its pool of over 1700 service companies - based on comprehensive customer requirements. Dispatches for service on LG's wide variety of consumer electronics and appliances are automatically routed based on such key factors as servicer availability and customer location - and calls are immediately processed without delay. With the new system, LG Electronics also can record and track important information and trends about service levels and product performance. In addition, LG is implementing the warranty management solution to maximize efficiencies for service companies currently using the ServiceBench system.
