The group walked in support of the company's founder and president, Hortensia Neely, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in September September: see month. 2006 and is now a breast cancer survivor. Over the months leading up to the race, the Global LT employees conducted a number of events in an effort to raise awareness of breast cancer detection and prevention, as well as raise funds for the Susan G.
