"Our goal for developing the Connected Home Roadmap is to identify the primary drivers that will propel this industry and set of technologies forward," stated Ronald J. Zimmer, CABA President & CEO. "It is our objective to develop the most comprehensive analysis of the sector ever undertaken." Through the technology roadmap process, companies in a given sector can pool their resources, to determine what their specific market will require for growth within a five-year time frame.

"With the pervasive availability of broadband, new wireless and wired communication technologies and network-ready consumer devices, the Connnected Home market is moving towards the integration of previously independent systems," said Deepak Kamlani, Steering Committee Chair and CEO of Global Inventures, Inc.
