As a special promotion, Centri TNT is available to customers at a 50% off list price through Dec. 31, 1996.

Centri TNT, in use by the U.S. Navy since 1994, protects Windows NT intranets against both external hackers and internal eavesdroppers who manage to penetrate the enterprise or departmental firewall without being detected. Network administrators simply write control scripts that accept or prohibit network sessions based on time, day, remote computer identity, protocol port or the type of communications service being used.

Centri TNT secures the TCP/IP protocol suite, encrypts information passing between cooperating computers, generates comprehensive network audit logs and allows remote users to connect securely to the corporate network through RAS (1) See network access server.

), a Westborough, Mass.-based research firm. The SPG's 1995 Market Intelligence Report indicates network applications, especially those enhancing security, will further the usage of Windows NT and benefit the needs of organizations.

Meeting the requirements for U.S. Department of Defense standards, Centri TNT is ideal for security-conscious government and military organizations, commercial banks and law offices. Global Internet's network security software controls when and how each computer on a private network communicates with other computers on the same network or on the Internet. Centri TNT can encrypt information passed between computers running Centri TNT wherever they reside.

Centri TNT is the only network security solution that is fully integrated into Windows NT. The software strengthens the Windows NT network security base, while maintaining 100% compatibility with existing applications, which allows users to run popular Windows applications with military-grade security. These security enhancements were made possible through the cooperation of Microsoft Corp., which has granted Global Internet an on-going source license to key portions of the underlying Windows NT operating system.

System Requirements

Centri TNT version 2.2 runs on both Windows NT Servers and Workstations. The following are minimum hardware and software requirements:

-- Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 -- VGA (Video Graphics Array) The display standard for the PC. All PC display adapters support VGA, and Windows machines boot up in "VGA mode" before switching to higher resolutions.  display with corresponding video card -- 2 GB hard disk drive -- 1.44 MB 3.5" floppy disk drive floppy disk drive - disk drive

Pricing and Availability

Centri TNT has a U.S. list pricing of $395 for single copies, $2,999 for a 10-user pack and $19,999 for a 100-user pack. The 50% discount will apply to all three purchase options.
