PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 30, 1996--Global Internet, a leader in Microsoft Windows NT network security, Monday announced the release of Centri TNT (Trusted Network Transport) Version 2.2, a military-grade (B-level), fully transparent security solution that permits the dynamic, safe exchange of information on Windows NT TCP/IP networks.

Centri TNT, in use by the U.S. Navy since 1994, protects Windows NT intranets against both external hackers and internal eavesdroppers who manage to penetrate the enterprise or departmental firewall without being detected. Network administrators simply write control scripts that accept or prohibit network sessions based on time, day, remote computer identity, protocol port or the type of communications service being used.
