This year, the 26 recipients represent 17 countries worldwide. Since the program's inception in 2002, 76 hemophilia professionals have received grants from Bayer BP totaling nearly $9 million for their work in hemophilia care. Award categories include hemophilia special projects, early career investigators, clinical scholarships, and caregiver education. The BHAP grant recipients utilize the funding to further research and education which supports the next generation of care for individuals with hemophilia.
