Global Forum of SAEs Participates in Launch of Spanish Society.


Leaders from national societies of association executives around the world gathered in Barcelona, Spain, in late June for the charter meeting of ORESA, the Spanish Spanish, river, c.150 mi (240 km) long, issuing from Spanish Lake, S Ont., Canada, NW of Sudbury, and flowing generally S through Biskotasi and Agnew lakes to Lake Huron opposite Manitoulin island. There are several hydroelectric stations on the river.  Organization of Secretaries/Directors of Associations. ORESA was formed last November to promote the interests of association professionals in Spain, and joins the worldwide network of 12 other such societies in the Global Forum.

Publicly accessible computer network connecting many smaller networks from around the world. It grew out of a U.S. Defense Department program called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), established in 1969 with connections between computers at the
 technology to carry out traditional functions. "Associations are information brokers, the Internet helps us increase the accessibility to information a hundred ," Olson said. "The Internet changes customer base as well. Associations function today in a global marketplace whether they are headquartered in Washington, D.C., or Barcelona or any of a million other destinations worldwide."
