The Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously (7-0) to award the bid to Global after a recommendation by the Property Records and Revenue Division under which the Election Department functions. The Ramsey County evaluation committee also cited lower on-going costs associated with the AccuVoteTM optical scan system as one of the factors in their decision to award the bid to Global.
