:UPGD UPGD Upgraded ) (www.upgd.com), an information technology company, through its equity interests in Global CyberSystems AG, and UltraCard Inc, has partnered with The EMS Group to develop sales and marketing channels in Europe.

The EMS Group will market the UltraCard, Inc. technology. The UltraCard Inc, technology is a patented, revolutionary system for high capacity data storage and retrieval in a standard credit card form factor. Currently, UltraCard has developed and is in the process of commercializing a card in the standard credit card format with 5mb (five million byte) data storage capacity. Compared to the existing data storage capacity of 256 bytes on standard magnetic stripe cards A magnetic stripe card is a type of card capable of storing data by modifying the magnetism of tiny iron-based magnetic particles on a band of magnetic material on the card.  and up to 16k capacity on IC (integrated circuit integrated circuit (IC), electronic circuit built on a semiconductor substrate, usually one of single-crystal silicon. The circuit, often called a chip, is packaged in a hermetically sealed case or a nonhermetic plastic capsule, with leads extending from it for ) Smartcards, Upgrade is excited about the UltraCard potential in Europe.
