:GLXS) today announced that it is expanding its board of directors to add two independent directors.

The company has seven directorships available, of which three are currently occupied. The company said it is also consolidating its Orange County and San Diego offices in the Orange County, Calif. area, and plans to expand its transaction processing facility (operating system) Transaction Processing Facility - (TPF) A real-time mainframe operating system released by IBM around 1976. TPF is particularly suited to organisations dealing in very high I/O message switching and large global networks.  in Florida.

Richard Wray, formerly a director and chief executive officer is leaving the company in connection with the relocation of its principal office to Orange County. Two new independent directors will be joining the company this month to fill the vacancy left by Wray, and a new position of chief financial officer has been established.

CardServices International, a subsidiary of First Data Corp. and one of the company's largest shareholders, has indicated that it will be nominating its board member sometime during the month of October. In addition to Weed joining the company's board, Leonard Roman has joined the company as its chief financial officer.

Weed is a partner in the law firm Weed & Co. in Newport Beach. Weed & Co. provides advice on capital formation, business strategy and legal matters on a special project basis. Roman has 30 years of diversified public and private business management experience with fast growth companies. Since 1997, Roman has been providing restructuring and consulting services and in connection with such services has served as a director and chief financial officer of various public and privately held companies. He is a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  with a B.S. degree from St. John's University.

Additionally, according to Idler, the company is in final negotiations on continuing acquisitions and is continuing talks with other individuals from the financial industry to complete its board.
