Shannon Briggs Shannon "Brooklyn" Briggs (born December 4, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American heavyweight boxer and actor, whose career peaked by controversially outpointing George Foreman for the linear heavyweight championship but was decelerated by a loss to Lennox Lewis in 1998.  and Sultan Ibragimov Sultan Ibragimov (born March 8 1975, Tlyarata, Dagestan) is a Russian heavyweight boxer of Avar origin.

Ibragimov, full name Sultanahmed Ibzagimov is currently the WBO Heavyweight Champion, and as of April 23, 2006 he is ranked #5 in the IBF and #9 in the WBA.

In one of the most anticipated battles of the year, the current heavyweight champion, Shannon Briggs will square off in a 12-rounder against the Russian fighter Sultan Ibragimov for the WBO Heavyweight title.

Ibragimov is known as an exciting two-fisted puncher whose aggressive attack and power can quickly overwhelm any opponent. Should Ibragimov claim the title, all four belts will be held by fighters from former republics of the Soviet Union
