Glenn Spencer Joins Lockton Companies, Inc.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Lockton Companies, Inc., the nation's largest privately owned insurance broker, has appointed Glenn Spencer to a Senior Vice President position in its Operations Group. He will be working out of Lockton's headquarters in Kansas City.

Mr. Spencer joins Lockton from Palmer & Cay, where he was a Managing Partner and was responsible for its Northeast Region. He had operational responsibility for nine offices, providing risk management consulting, property and casualty brokerage and employee benefits consulting services. Prior to his work with Palmer & Cay, Mr. Spencer was a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Baltimore/Washington operations of a global risk management consulting, insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firm. In addition to his operational experience, Mr. Spencer has held senior roles in sales and marketing for a global insurance broker as well as serving as the Vice President of Risk Management for America Online. Mr. Spencer began his career in underwriting with the Travelers Insurance Company in 1987.
