Detectable warts can be or removed, usually by chemicals, freezing, or laser, but often recur. (HPV HPV human papillomavirus. HPV abbr. human papilloma virus Human papilloma virus (HPV) ) infection starting in April. The vaccine is indicated for cervical cancer, which is the second most common cancer in women. In overseas clinical studies, it showed benefits against HPV16 and 18 types of infections. The vaccine is approved in the EU under the trade name Cervarix.
