Thousands of people use this bus stop throughout the week to get to the south of the city and now they do not have protection from the bad weather. The only other bus stop with a shelter is in Renshaw Street or a long walk to the Paradise street depot, something which is out of the question if you are an elderly or disabled person carrying bags of shopping. Once again, it appears Merseytavel are putting profits before the ordinary person, especially when the government is encouraging people to use public transport more instead of their cars to protect the environment. I would like a reply from Neil Scales or someone from the passenger transport executive to explain their decision as to why they removed this bus shelter? John Harrison
