Their sport is about the only thing these girls have in common, but they bond despite (or maybe because of) their differences. It's about teamwork, right? A special hourlong premiere airs April 9 at 7 p.m.

The founding members of '80s powerhouse new-wave group Devo have turned to the production side of the studio, mentoring a gang of five kid musicians to re-record 10 of Dove's original songs (plus two new once). We especially dig the girl energy of lead singer Nicole and keyboardist Jackie on classics like "Whip It" and "Uncontrollable Urge," "Girl U Want" was even rewritten as "Boy U Want" for Nicole. "The concept is about the energy and aesthetic of Devo being passed like an Olympic torch to a new generation," says Devo frontman Gerald V. Casale. Right en.
