Gilbane Selected as Construction Manager for New Life Sciences Building At Brown University.

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 2000

Gilbane Building Company of Providence, R.I., has been selected as construction manager for a new 186,000-square-foot Life Sciences Building.

The facility, 70 percent of which will be laboratory space, will combine the departments of cognitive and linguistic sciences, molecular biology molecular biology, scientific study of the molecular basis of life processes, including cellular respiration, excretion, and reproduction.
