Giat.

Giat has delivered five Caesars to the French Army, a move that marks the official entry into service of the 155 mm 52-calibre, truck chassis-mounted artillery system. The five units are to undergo technical and operational evaluation by the French Army during the second half of 2003. Almost simultaneously to this event, Giat has also received a request for offers from the French Army for the order of a further 72 Caesars.
