Getting the facts straight: the Chamber's Research and information center works for members.


Chamber members have another benefit at their fingertips-a Research and information department. The Research and Information Center, a department of the Chamber, supports, supports Detroit Detroit, city, United States

Each year the Research and Information team responds to thousands of general inquiries about the Detroit Region.

In response to frequently requested research, the research and Information Center publishes more than 40 business, community and industry-focused fact sheets, the Regional Detroit Profile, the Detroit Region at a Glance brochure, a foreign-held companies brochure and "Why the Detroit Region" newsletter. The Research and Information team assists chamber staff with research requests. compiles content for the Detroit Regional Business Book and Contributes to the Detroiter Magazine every month in the "Eye on Our Economy" section (see page 32). The team also assists the Detroit Regional Economic Partnership with corporate intelligence when traveling overseas on trade missions or trade shows and provides developers with custom research tailored to their clients' needs

The center also participates in the C2ER C2ER Council for Community and Economic Research  cost of living survey three times a year and responds to hundreds of student letters requesting information on the RIC RIC Rhode Island College
