Getting a Jump-Start: what would you rather do other than travel the country and learn new things?That's the question That's the Question is an American quiz game show on GSN, hosted by game show veteran and former Entertainment Tonight reporter, Bob Goen, which premiered in October 2006. 17-year-old Antonio Locus of Durham, N.C., asks to get other gay teens interested in the group he loves: the Jump-Start National Leadership Team, sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network. For four years Jump-Start has chosen about 70 students from across the nation who work together to end LGBT LGBT Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender harassment and to "change the way students grow up and learn in schools," says Nae Morris, 18, a Jump-Start leader at DeWitt [Mich.] High School. Jump-Start members have changed policies in their school districts, led teacher training sessions, and organized the Day of Silence and other protests. All students in the program are invited to a minimum of two big-city retreats taking place in the summer and fall.
