Roche, general manager of Getronics North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  headquartered in Billerica, has been appointed to the parent company's three-man Board of Management.

Klaas Wagenaar, chairman and chief executive officer of Getronics, said that the additions to the Management Board of Mr. Roche, 43, and Oswald Coene, 42-year old general manager of the company's Netherlands unit, is a key step in securing the company's future leadership.

"The new composition of the Board of Management, which includes an extra position to be filled in the near future, shows us setting the foundation for the long term development of our company. It is no surprise that two people who have been so influential in setting the standards for our key country operations in the Netherlands and North America have been selected to serve on the Board of Management," said Mr. Wagenaar.

Kevin Roche Kevin Roche (b. June 14, 1922) is an award winning twentieth-century Irish architect. He is famous for his creative work with glass.

Born in Dublin. Roche graduated from University College Dublin before immigrating to the US in 1948.
 has been General Manager of Getronics North America since 2002. He was promoted to that position from the presidency of the company's Infrastructure Services business, a post he had held since Getronics acquired Wang Global, a successor company to Wang Laboratories Wang Laboratories - Computer manufacturer, known for their office automation products.

Before joining Wang Global, Roche spent seven years with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) An integrated information system that is used to plan, schedule and control the presales and postsales activities in an organization.  software firm Astea International, finishing as its senior vice president for North America. He began his career at Wang Laboratories where he held a number of senior management positions in manufacturing and field services. He is a graduate of Northeastern University Northeastern University, at Boston, Mass.; coeducational; founded 1898 as a program within the Boston YMCA, inc. 1916, university status 1922, fully independent of the YMCA 1948. .
