Get involved in shaping ACPE with the college's new task forces.


ACPE Board President, Harry L. Leider, MD, MBA, FACPE, is committed to strengthening the link between ACPE members and the Board and he is inviting all members to participate in the new Task Force project being launched this fall.

"ACPE's Task Forces will allow us tap into the creativity, experience, insight, and leadership within the College to make it a more responsive organization" Leider says.

The Task Forces will focus on seven essential areas of growth and potential for ACPE's future:

* Advocacy

* Medical Education

* Innovation

* Health Care Reform

* Information Technology

* Patient Safety, High Reliability

* Integrated Health Systems

Joining a Task Force will include

1. A commitment to attend at least one of several teleconferences between October 2009 and March 2010

2. Active participation in follow-up online discussions

3. Contributing research and resources toward the creation of a Board Recommendations Report delivered in April 2010
