Golf and tennis enthusiasts gear up for networking event

You still have time to get in shape for this year's eighth annual Black Enterprise/Pepsi Golf & Tennis Challenge, Labor Day Labor Day, holiday celebrated in the United States and Canada on the first Monday in September to honor the laborer. It was inaugurated by the Knights of Labor in 1882 and made a national holiday by the U.S. Congress in 1894.  weekend, August 30 to September 3, at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami.

The business and recreational event includes golf and tennis tournaments, financial seminars, power networking, spa treatments, and nightly entertainment. It lends itself to some serious business networking. There is also an exhibit where attendees can introduce themselves to and learn more about the sponsors. Make sure you have an ample supply of business cards and some portable information about your company. Networking is a huge part of the Golf & Tennis Challenge for attendees and sponsors alike.
