Indiana Jones could be pipped at the post by Audrey Hepburn with only one more day of voting before Newcastle's most popular film is decided.

More than 2,500 people have already voted for the movie they want to see at the open-air screening in Leazes Park Leazes Park is a park in Newcastle upon Tyne. It lies to the west of the city centre. It is the city's oldest park, opened in 1873. It contains a lake above the course of the Lort Burn. It is next to St James' Park and the Royal Victoria Infirmary. .

A total of 689 fans have voted for Raiders of the Lost Ark, the 1981 adventure which pits actor Harrison Ford against Nazis, henchmen and snakes in a quest for the lost ark of the covenant Ark of the Covenant

Grease is next in the poll with 565 votes, the Shawshank Redemption has 345 and Gladiator gladiator

A spokesman for Newcastle City Council said: "Friday is the last day the public will have a chance to vote and change the presentation, but they can only get their votes in on the website."

You still have time to vote for your favourite of these five films to take the lead and see it shown on a huge `air screen' on Friday, September 17.

Moulin Rouge has already been chosen for the second evening.
