This helps avoid those mid-afternoon 'dips' which might tempt you to raid the biscuit barrel. Proteins can help build lean muscle and while there are some carbs in there for energy, Ali avoids excessive amounts of bread, pasta and rice which leave her feeling sluggish. Here's a typical day... BREAKFAST: Boiled egg Noun 1. boiled egg - egg cooked briefly in the shell in gently boiling water coddled egg dish - a particular item of prepared food; "she prepared a special dish for dinner" or homemade muesli with barley, rye and almond flakes, nuts and seeds but no wheat flakes. Served with milk or natural yogurt. LUNCH: Salad with grilled chicken or tuna steak.
