The local district council's decision in 2004 to close it over health and safety fears prompted a wave of outrage from people both locally and elsewhere in the on Thursday, 10am to noon. Meet at the main entrance on Gunnergate Lane near St Augustine's School. Sessions cost pounds 1. There will also be an admission charge at Newham Grange Country Farm.
