Get Carrie-d away all over again; Fashion Victim Emma Johnson thinks she needs help.

Byline: Emma Johnson

At the end of last week the photographic evidence finally landed to prove that, after all the rumours of rowing and wrangling, Sex and the City the Movie... the sequel, is really happening.

And while we may not have had to wait an agonising five years to catch up with our favourite New York New York, state, United States

foursome this time, I did let out a little yelp when I saw Sarah Jessica Parker pounding the pavements - sorry sidewalks - of the Big Apple.

I must admit when I walked out of the cinema at the end of the last movie (all three times), happy in the knowledge that Carrie and Big were finally married after 10 years of teasing, a lot of me wanted that to be the end of it.

The girls were all happy - Charlotte with her new baby, Miranda having forgiven hubby Steve and Samantha back to being the cougar we know and love - and so was I. But Sex addiction is tough to crack.

However after almost ruining the end of the last film for myself through devouring every inch of gossip printed about it, I promised myself that this time around I would not put "Sex and the City 2" on my Google alerts.

Yeah and that lasted a whole five minutes.

So anyway here's what (we think) we know about the next one.

Carrie runs into "Big" marriage trouble after his business takes a battering in the recession and there may or may not be a trip to London for the team.

Meanwhile Samantha, played by our own Kim Cattrall, is onto a new toyboy but could be trying for a baby.

Whatever. Who cares about the plot? This is about the fashion and despite talk of the credit crunch Credit Crunch

taking a bite out of the girls' wardrobes they are still looking absolutely fabulous.

Well, apart from the dodgy 80s flashback scene complete with Carrie's poodle poodle, popular breed of dog probably originating in Germany but generally associated with France, where it has been raised for centuries. There are three varieties, differing in size only.  perm.

Apparently much of Carrie's wardrobe, or at least what we have seen so far, is from the Halston Heritage range.

Famed seventies label Halston, the choice of the Studio 54 crowd, has been reinvigorated in recent years under the guidance of design genius Marios Schwab and can currently be found at Net-A-Porter, although you would need a Big budget to afford it.

Not so Halston Heritage. This diffusion range draws from the brand's heyday 70s archive and some of the dresses Carrie has been spotted in come in under the pounds 300 mark.

Sadly we are going to have to wait until spring for it to land in stores. Conveniently that is also when the movie opens.

Just remember, Sex sells. I'll be getting my name on the waiting list.
