In an agreement announced today with Gespac Industrie SA and Accelonix sarl, Tecnomatix Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: TCNO), the driving force in Manufacturing Process Management (MPM) solutions, will implement Tecnomatix Unicam eMPower(TM) for Electronics solutions at Gespac Industrie facilities in France. The eMPower implementation at Gespac is aimed at automating the transfer of CAD information into the company's PCB assembly and testing processes, and improving the company's machine programming processes. Gespac Industrie will use eMPower solutions to save time in generating shop floor documentation, improve reliability in program generation and reduce the impact of late design and assembly modifications. Tecnomatix Unicam, Inc. is a subsidiary of Tecnomatix Technologies, Ltd and Gespac Industrie SA (formerly known as Polytech SA) is a subsidiary of the Gespac Group, headquartered in Switzerland. Accelonix sarl is the designated distributor for the full range of Tecnomatix Unicam eMPower for Electronics products in France.

In order to automate its manual operations, Gespac Industrie chose a trio of eMPower for Electronics solutions, including eM-Test Expert, eM-Assembly Expert and eM-Document Expert. Through the use of eM-Test Expert, Gespac Industrie is able to increase productivity and performance by generating test processes for complex cards. eM-Test Expert automates the test fixture creation process, and creates circuit descriptions and machine recipes for flying probe and in-circuit test systems.

With eM-Assembly Expert, Gespac Industrie can map the entire production environment--including all machines and process steps. eM-Assembly Expert enables users to document and graphically represent the entire production and inspection process--comparing the process time calculation of one product between different assembly lines without the need to re-work the data. And in a fraction of the time required with Gespac Industrie's manual operations, eM-Document Expert can create intelligent circuit assembly drawings, hand assembly drawings, inspection drawings, visual aids, kitting report sheets and other process documentation for implementing changes with ease. Gespac Industrie is able to generate complete sets of shop floor documentation with eM-Document Expert.
