SPRINGFIELD Gertrude Ann Hartnett, age 94, died on April 27, 2008
at Mont Marie Health Care Center in Holyoke. She was born in Worcester,
MA on April 15, 1914 to Doctor J. Henry and Mable (Hennessey) Hartnett.
She leaves a niece, A. Christina Hall, of Savannah, Georgia Savannah is a city located in (and the county seat of) Chatham County, Georgia (USA). and had careers in both education and social
work in Boston and Hartford. Upon retirement from her teaching career,
she cared for her mother in Worcester and also other family relatives.
She moved to Springfield in 1980 to live with her late sister, Mary
Foley, who died in 1999. Miss Hartnett's family and friends extend
their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Mont Marie Health Care
Center, in Holyoke, for their compassionate care of her during the last
four years.
The funeral will be held Thursday morning from Tazzini Funeral

John's Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will precede the funeral
