Gerson appointed to new Washington Public Policy Post.


WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 10, 1995--Seagram today announced the appointment of Matthew T. Gerson as Vice President - Public Policy, MCA/Universal, effective Oct. 23, 1995.

Gerson will be joining the Washington office of Seagram, MCA's parent company. He will report to William P. Roesing, Vice President - Public Policy at Seagram, and will work closely with Robert Hadl, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, George Smith George Smith may refer to: U.S. politics

Prior to joining MPAA, Gerson spent four years as an attorney for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee The U.S. Senate established the Committee on the Judiciary on December 10, 1816, as one of the original 11 standing committees. It became a university in 1955.
