Geron Corporation Announces Closing of Its Common Stock Offering.


MENLO PARK, Calif. -- Geron Corporation (Nasdaq:GERN v. t. 1. To grin or yawn. ) announced today that its public offering of 6,900,000 shares of common stock, including 900,000 shares issued upon exercise of an option granted to the underwriters to cover over-allotments, closed on September 21, 2005. The public offering price was $9.00 per share and the aggregate gross public offering price, including the shares issued upon exercise of the over-allotment option, was $62.1 million.
