German gallery joins DUMBO crowd.


Two Trees Management Co. announced that Gallery twenty-four, a Berlin-based art gallery specializing in the exhibition of works by undiscovered artists, has opened its first U.S. location in Brooklyn's waterfront community of DUMBO.

Gallery twenty-four is located at 111 Front Street, a building that houses 14 art galleries. The gallery has leased 1,801 square feet for three years, according to according to

Gallery twenty-four was founded in Berlin in 2001, their mission being that unknown artists would be able to present their artistic vision without commercial restraints imposed by more traditional galleries. Gallery twenty-four also has a gallery in the Montmartre district of Paris.
