George Phippen.The Phippen Museum in Prescott, Ariz., is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the exhibition "Remembering George," on display through July 26. The show features paintings and sculptures by George Phippen (1915-1966) and 14 active Cowboy Artists of America The Cowboy Artists of America (often referred to as the CA, or sometimes the CAA) was founded in 1965 by four prominent western artists, Joe Beeler, Charlie Dye, John Hampton and George Phippen. .
