Business Editors

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 15, 2000

Plymedia, Inc., the world's leading component-image provider, today announced that Geoff Holmes, Coldstream Capital board member and former senior vice president of Time Warner, has joined its board of directors to help guide Plymedia's growth and success.

Gregory Mollner, Plymedia president and chief executive officer commented, "Geoff's experience at Time Warner gives him an excellent understanding of the technology and trends in our business. His relationships with influential media players are invaluable to Plymedia." Mollner went on to comment, "With his direction and industry influence, we will be able to identify the key strategic partnerships that will help our company grow."

Holmes stated, "Plymedia has developed advanced imaging technology that will accomplish what people in the industry have, until now, only talked about--transforming the film industry's blue screen technology into still photography. Now merchandisers can easily position their products in any of Plymedia's 15,000 environments at a fraction of the cost of actually shooting on location. While many companies have aspired to do this, only Plymedia has successfully nailed it."

Prior to his role at Coldstream, Holmes' influential position as senior vice president of Time Warner and chairman and CEO of Time Warner Interactive, gave him leading-edge experience driving new media technology. During his tenure at Time Warner, Holmes was responsible for the development of the majority of Time Warner's Full Service Network applications as well as its interactive consumer entertainment products.

Residing in New York City, Holmes is surrounded by key industry players who are impacting the evolution of imaging. His location and extensive network within the imaging industry enable him to stay at the forefront of trends and technological developments relevant to Plymedia.
