Geocom Resources Announces Successful Drilling Program Completed at Iliamna Project.

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Geocom Resources Inc. (OTCBB:GOCM) is pleased to report on the completion and successful results of drilling on the H Claims Block of the Iliamna Project, Alaska. A total of 1,006.8m (3,303 feet) was drilled in four holes to expand upon the copper-gold mineralization discovered during the 2003 drill program and test geophysical anomalies delineated by the 3D IP survey carried out earlier this year.

Geologic logs show that pyrite-chalcopyrite-pyrrhotite-molybdenum mineralization was intersected in all four widely-spaced holes. In conjunction with the two holes drilled in 2003, the mineralized area now covers a minimum of 700m by 1500m (2,296 feet by 4,921 feet). Disseminated porphyry-style and fracture-controlled copper-gold mineralization were intersected in both a granodiorite intrusive rock and the enclosing metamorphic country rocks.

A flat-lying fracture system containing narrow quartz veins is present in all holes and contains the bulk of the fracture-controlled mineralization, which appears to be superimposed upon the disseminated copper-gold mineralization. These flat fractures and veins also appear to be a principal control on the distribution and intensity of the alteration zones. The types and style of the alteration encountered indicates that the drilling so far has located only the distal portions of a potentially very large system.

Core has been split, and samples sent to Fairbanks for analysis. The Company utilizes ALS Chemex Laboratories for its analyses. In addition to the internal standards used by ALS Chemex to ensure quality of assays, the Company maintains its own geochemical standards program to manage quality control in sampling and analysis.

A selected sample of granodiorite intrusive rock has been provided to the University of Alaska-Fairbanks for age dating. Additional samples have been provided to Vancouver Petrographics for detailed thin section and descriptive analysis. As part of the amended agreement with BHP Billiton (see news release dated December 10, 2004), Geocom intends to conduct additional geophysical work on the D claims block this winter, to determine bedrock depth and optimum drill locations. A full project report is in preparation for submission to the Company's partners.

Management considers the results obtained to date to be very positive for the continuing and timely development of the Iliamna Project. Geocom is earning an interest in the Iliamna Project from TNR Gold Corp. and BHP Billiton Minerals International Exploration Inc. The Iliamna Project is located in the Kuskokwim Gold Belt, about 50 miles west of the Pebble deposit.
