GeoLogistics Appoints Michael Bible to VP Finance Post.

GeoLogistics Corporation announced today the appointment of Michael K. Bible to the position of Vice President, Finance. Bible will be responsible for GeoLogistics Corporate general accounting, financial reporting, accounts receivable accounts receivable n. the amounts of money due or owed to a business or professional by customers or clients. Generally, accounts receivable refers to the total amount due and is considered in calculating the value of a business or the business' problems in paying , accounts payable, payroll and tax departments. He will also be responsible for similar functions of GeoLogistics Americas division.

Bible is charged with enhancing the financial planning Financial planning

Evaluating the investing and financing options available to a firm. Planning includes attempting to make optimal decisions, projecting the consequences of these decisions for the firm in the form of a financial plan, and then comparing future performance against
 and analysis capabilities of the company as well as overseeing the improvement of existing and development of new financial systems at GeoLogistics. Bible will also lead the interface with the public accounting firms used by GeoLogistics worldwide.

A more than 15-year financial industry veteran, Bible comes to GeoLogistics with significant experience in dealing with officer-level issues in corporate finance. "Michael Bible brings a wealth of experience to the position considering his experience at a major public accountancy firm and in corporate finance in the private sector. He is an extremely energetic and knowledgeable financial leader and will take prime responsibility for improving internal company controls, financial reporting and the improvement of our existing financial systems," states Bob Arovas, President and Chief Executive Officer of GeoLogistics Corp.

Bible is based in the company's Santa Ana, Calif. headquarters and reports directly to Arovas. Bible most recently was Chief Financial Officer of El Camino Resources, Ltd., after holding various financial positions at the company. Prior to that he was with KPMG KPMG Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (accounting firm)
