GeoCities Celebrates Anniversary with Hollywood & Vine Online Celebrity Challenge -- TV Stars Join Event to Benefit AmFAR -- Grand Prize is Trip to Hollywood.

Andrew is the brother of actress Elisabeth Shue. Beginning May 15, GeoCitizens and netters at large submit questions to featured celebrities. Chosen questions will be posted, with celebrity replies, starting June 1. Throughout the month, fans can submit additional questions based on posted replies.

Winning contestants, whose questions are chosen, receive special commemorative T-shirts and are entered in a sweepstakes. Grand prize is a trip to Hollywood, with free domestic airfare and hotel.

The event will benefit AmFAR (The American Foundation for AIDS Research), the leading nonprofit organization Nonprofit Organization

An association that is given tax-free status. Donations to a non-profit organization are often tax deductible as well.

Examples of non-profit organizations are charities, hospitals and schools.
 dedicated to the support of AIDS research.

GeoCities is hosting the contest to celebrate the million people who have visited its acclaimed Hollywood & Vine web-cam site, the oldest site-based web cam, during its first year of operation. GeoCities builds and manages 24 themed communities on the World Wide Web, with monthly page views exceeding 13 million.
