Hungry? Chances are you'll reach for a hamburger--it's one of the most popular foods in the United States. It's so popular, in fact, that several U.S. cities claim to be the hamburger's birthplace. However, this German city is the real burger king. A merchant introduced ground beef to the area in the 1300s, after observing the Tatars, a group of Asian nomadic people, soften and shred their beef by placing it under the saddles on their horses. Germans flavored the meat with spices and ate it both cooked and raw. The meat was so popular that it was named after the city. What is this city called?
