Genus wins CVD/ION implant equipment order from Samsung exceeding $18.6 million.


SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 1995--Genus, Inc. (NASDAQ NASDAQ

The systems will be used on Samsung's 0.35-micron production Line 7 in Kiheung, for word line and bit line applications in the manufacture of 16Mbit and 64Mbit DRAMs, according to Bill Cole, Genus vice president of sales. Deliveries of these systems will begin during the second quarter of 1995.

"This order reflects the overall value and continued acceptance of our MeV ion implant and next-generation Genus 7000 CVD tool, for high-volume advanced DRAM manufacturing," Cole said.
