Genius Products Inc.


San Diego-based DVD and CD distributor Genius Products Inc. named Alexander Cappello, Charles Rivkin and Peter Schlessel to its board. Cappello is founder, chairman and chief executive of the Cappello Group; Rivkin most recently served as president and chief executive of Jim Henson Co. and Schlessel was president and president of production for Columbia Pictures until 2004. Schlessel and Rivkin will also serve on the audit committee of Genius Products' board.
