Genio Secures $1.8 Million in Initial Orders for Its New Mighty Beanz Trading Card Game; Expected on U.S. Mass-Market Retailers Shelves Beginning April.

Genio Group, Inc. (OTC BB: GNOI), a developer and marketer of innovative entertainment and leisure products, announced today that it has received approximately $1.8 million in initial purchase orders from domestic mass-market retailers for its new collectible trading card game based on the popular children's collectible toy, Mighty Beanz(TM). In February, Genio and Spin Master, the North American distributor of Mighty Beanz, entered into a license agreement whereby Genio secured the rights to the Mighty Beanz characters for use in a new Genio Cards(TM) series being launched this Spring. Genio expects to ship these initial orders later this month, during its fiscal third quarter ending June 30.

Genio's license agreement provides it with access to hundreds of Mighty Beanz characters for use in a collectible trading card game series aimed at children ages 5 - 12. The initial launch of the Mighty Beanz series of Genio Cards features 131 different cards. The first series of cards (Moon Quest series) consists of 2 SKUs - a 9-card booster pack and a 40-card Starter Deck that includes one free Mighty Beanz Collectible toy as well as a Mighty Beanz Universe Collector's Mat. The collection also allows for fun game play using the Collector's mat with the trading cards and Mighty Beanz Collectibles.

Genio has recently extended its exclusive trading card game rights to the Mighty Beanz characters to include markets outside of North America. Genio is actively marketing the game in several international markets, and expects to secure initial purchase orders from several of these territories later in the current quarter.
