The FLI8548 offers 10-bit processing, supports displays with resolutions up to 1080p and is ideal for global TV manufacturers as it supports worldwide LCD TV standards. It can also be used as part of a digital TV solution that requires exceptional video processing due to the advanced algorithms of the Faroudja DCDi Cinema(TM) technology suite. A derivative product, the FLI8538 controller, is also available with the same features as the FLI8548 but excludes the integrated HDMI receiver.
