), a leading provider of healthcare services to the elderly through healthcare networks located in five geographic regions in the Eastern United States, has closed the previously announced acquisition of NeighborCare Pharmacies, a privately-held institutional pharmacy, infusion therapy and retail pharmacy company based in Baltimore.

Total consideration was approximately $57.3 million, including assumed debt, and was financed through a combination of stock and long-term debt Long-Term Debt

Loans and financial obligations lasting over one year.
